1. Proprietary Software
ComplyBar Cloud is proprietary software. All rights in the Platform - including the software, source code, compiled code, algorithms, workflows, data models, user interfaces, reports, designs and associated documentation - are owned by or licensed to ComplyBar. No rights are granted to you except the limited licence to use the Platform as described in the Terms of Use.
2. Patent Pending
Patent Pending. Certain technologies, workflows and methods incorporated in or associated with ComplyBar Cloud may be the subject of pending patent applications in South Africa and/or other jurisdictions. The inclusion of this notice does not constitute a representation that any patent has been granted. ComplyBar reserves all rights under applicable patent law. Specific details are available only under appropriate confidentiality terms.
3. Trademarks
The name "ComplyBar", the ComplyBar shield logo, and associated product names and taglines are trademarks or trade names of ComplyBar. You may not use these marks without prior written consent, including in connection with any product, service, website or publication in a manner likely to cause confusion or association.
4. Reports and Outputs
Reports, assessments, governance scores and other outputs generated by the Platform are proprietary to ComplyBar and are provided to your organisation under licence for internal use only. You may not:
- Republish or distribute reports externally without attribution to ComplyBar.
- Represent ComplyBar reports as your own independent analysis.
- Use ComplyBar report formats, templates or scoring methodologies to develop competing products or services.
5. Restrictions
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Copying or reproduction: Copying, reproducing or creating derivative works from any part of the Platform.
- Reverse engineering: Disassembling, decompiling or reverse-engineering any part of the Platform's software.
- Scraping: Automated extraction of data, logic or templates from the Platform.
- Replication: Building a product or service that replicates the Platform's functionality using knowledge obtained from access to the Platform.
